we are a CAI, but what is it exactly?

although the word itself is definitely a misnomer, we all know what a DAO is ... a decentralized autonomous organization is a "virtual" community of people who have come together for a common cause and are often loosely bound by a DLT ecosystem exercising their special governance rights

however, an organization per se cannot be autonomous (in the sense as intended here)

it is only individuals who can be so...

alternatively, when autonomous individuals come together for a common cause, and enjoy frequent face-to-face contact in physical reality and are bound only by a loose cooperative structure that eventually holds them united and shelters them and provides solidarity, then let us call it a CAI (/'kah-ee/; community of autonomous individuals) ...
